The tour provides income for the student-guides. The tour allows you to see many of the must-sees of the city, visit Dhobi Ghat - an open-air laundromat, experience Mumbai local train, check out local delicacies, and more importantly, it provides an opportunity to see Mumbai through the eyes of young people.
