Mumbai Film City and Bollywood Tour with Meal

After morning pickup from your hotel, travel in an air-conditioned private vehicle to Film City. There, transfer to an air-conditioned bus for a guided tour of the site.

On the group tour, learn about the history of Bollywood and Film City, which was built by the state government to provide facilities for the film industry. Drive past movie sets (as available) such as the Helipad Temple, Lake Reserve Garden, Khandala Bridge, Court, and Church.

After drop-off at the entrance to Film City after the bus tour, your private car takes you past homes of Bollywood stars. Next up, the technicians at the work that goes on behind the scenes when you visit a film studio. You may even get the chance to see the star's makeup room and snap a souvenir photo with some actors.

Your tour ends with drop-off at your Mumbai hotel.

On 7-hour tour, learn about the Indian Film Industry, which is one of the largest in the world. Mumbai accounts for almost 60% of Indian film productions. Film city has several recording rooms, gardens, lakes, theaters and grounds that serve as the venue of many Bollywood film shootings. It was built by the state government to provide facilities and concessions to the film industry and renamed Dadasaheb Phalke Nagar, in memory of the Marathi producer-director-screenwriter Dadasaheb Phalke who was father of Indian film industry.
