Greet your guide at the Sihlquai Coach Terminal in central Zurich and climb aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled coach for the scenic journey along the shores of Lake Lucerne. On arrival in the pretty city, embark on a short guided tour of Lucerne with your knowledgeable guide and see important monuments like Chapel Bridge and the grand Town Hall.
Travel onward to Kriens and climb aboard a panoramic aerial cable car for a ride that ascends to 7,000 feet (2,132 meters) above sea level. Absorb the unique atmosphere of Mount Pilatus, a mythical paradise shrouded in legend and history; hear colorful tales of the dragons reputed to have lived on the mountain, and then take the serpentine Dragon Path to enjoy more stunning Alpine views.
Feast on a traditional Swiss lunch in one of the restaurants of Mt. Pilatus and descend the mountain on the cable car. Rejoin your coach transfer and relax during the scenic journey back to Zurich, where the tour concludes.
