Etna MTB excursion. Cycling excursion in MTB (Muscular) or * E-MTB (Electric) on the Etna volcano, Pista Altomontana. Departure Etna Sud (Piano Vetore). Description of the mountain bike route: From Piano Vetore (south Etna, about 1.750mt) we will head by MTB towards the Altomontana track (south Etna) through an easy path and without big differences in height, we will cross places characterized by lava sceneries and breathtaking landscapes. We will stop at the Galvarina refuge (about 1,850m), after the stop, we will descend along a sandy dirt road towards Mount Fontanelle, where the Mountain Bike adventure will come to life amidst woods and old lava flows. Finally, a fantastic climb will be waiting for us along one of the most characteristic trails of our volcano. We will conclude the MTB Tour in Piano Vetore, the starting point of the Tour. As a guideline, this is the description of the route, but at the discretion of the guide in charge of the service, it will be possible to make the necessary changes to the tour, all to make it suitable for your technical / physical abilities. Duration of the pedaled route, including stops, 2 hours (approximately), 18 km (approximately).
