One of the world`s highest mountain Makalu 8445 meters 27838 fts located in the Mahalangur Himalayas just 19 km southwest of mount Everest on the Nepal, China & Tibet border. On May 1995 the Mount Makalu Expedition was first time climbed by lionel Terray and Jean couzy of a French expedition lead by jean franco. Makalu is highly vertical slopes & sharp-edged ridge required prominent knowledge of using climbing gears.
