Good to know
- All southbound lanes of Interstate 5 through the Rose Quarter in Portland will close completely 24/7 starting at 10 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026, for up to five weeks. Due to the traffic delays this may cause, the tour could last up to one hour longer.
- It is recommended that you wear comfortable shoes
- This tour does operate in rainy weather.
- America’s Hub World Tour’s works in collaboration with Oregon Tour Experts. All pickups are made via Oregon Tour Expert’s transportation and tour guiding company.
- All guests will be required to sign an acknowledgement of the Safety Briefing that will be given at the start of the tour.

Beautiful Columbia River
Scenery outside of Portland is gorgeous. My tour changed from all day to half day, which was disappointing, but it turned out ok.
Please take this day trip from Portland, you will not be disappointed!
Excellent tour of the Columbia River Gorge, various Waterfalls, Hood River, Timberline Lodge and Mt Hood. Our driver and tour guide John aka Dominic, was a safe driver, very personable and obvious a local guy with a love of nature and of Oregon. He talked virtually the whole tour pointing out landmarks, wildlife ( many Ospreys), geographical features and many other subjects. The sprinter van was comfortable, had AC and water was also provided. We had a small party of only 2 couples and myself on the tour. We visited the Columbia River Gorge taking in the Bridge of the Gods, Multnomah falls, Hood River for lunch, and Timberline lodge/Mt Hood. Beautiful scenery, very well narrated and excellent value for money. It was a bit hazy around Mt Hood due to several forest fires which are still burning in Oregon at the moment. Must recommend this trip from start to finish, nothing negative to say at all.
Excellent tour of Columbia River Gorge and Mt Hoos - highly recommended
A very good trip taking in the Columbia River gorge, many waterfalls and Timberline Lodge and Mt Hood. Our guide was excellent, obviously a local guy, who loves the area and is very personable and knowledgeable. He was called John/ Dominic. Only 5 of us on the trip in a comfortable Sprinter Van, with AC and water provided. Had several comfort stops and an hour for lunch at Hood River. Timberline lodge is an amazing historic building sitting 5K feet below the summit of the impressive Mt Hood - it’s was quite hazy there, due to the many forest fires that are currently burning in Oregon. Everything went smoothly, from pick-up to drop off. A great day trip and definitely value for money
