This will trip begin when our driver picks you up from your lobby hotel at 01.30 – 02.30 AM depending on your hotel location. Our driver will escort you to the starting point of Mount Batur sunrise trekking, explain the itinerary of this trip, and also find a local guide for your trekking. All of our guides are experienced hike up the mountain since they were children.
We start the trek at 03.30 AM. Before starting, your guide will give a briefing about safety trekking. We need around 2 hours to get the summit. Along the trek, we will cross the dark jungle and some heavy rock by lava volcano. The temperature will be 8 – 15 Celsius, so you need to wear a thick and comfortable jacket to keep you warm.
From the top, we will have a delicious breakfast while enjoying the beautiful sunrise view. Admire the scenic view around and the green of Batur caldera geopark. After that, we continue our trek around the crater and begin our descent to finish point. On the way home, you have an optional to visit Balinese coffee plantation to enjoy Luwak coffee, herbal tea, and some chocolate.
