Mt. Ayngat is perfectly lies within the longest mountain ranges in the Philippines, also known as Sierra Madre, situated in the Eastern part of Manila which is Tanay, Rizal. It is very famous for hikers because of it’s proximity from the Metro not to mention the lavish vegetation of tropical rainforest surrounding the mountain. Locals says that it was called ‘Ayngat’ because of the rock formation that can be found in the peak which is said to be floating with an elevation of 600 meters above sea level. A perfect hike for beginners and nature lovers!
