Cruise in World Heritage Wilderness along the beautiful Gordon River with the only local family, owned and operated, World Heritage Cruises - The Red Boat. Cruises depart Strahan daily at 9am. Attractions include a cruise through the harbour entrance - Hells Gates, get a close up view of the Atlantic Salmon fish farms, enjoy an entertaining guided tour of Sarah Island, take in the magic of the Gordon River, followed by a walk amongst ancient trees on our rainforest boardwalk, and finish your day with a demonstration on the workings of a traditional family owned and run Huon Pine sawmill. A delicious lunch is included, and you are welcome to wander about the whole of the big red boat, you can even have a chat to the Captain in the wheelhouse (weather permitting).
