Morning photo tour at St. Anna volcanic lake

Very early in the morning, at about 6-6:30 am, you will be picked up from your accommodation in Brasov and driven 80 kilometers away, in the area of lake St. Anna, the only volcanic crater lake in Eastern Europe.

During the autumn, this place is famous for its morning fog, which is present over the surface of the lake, creating a mystical landscape, perfect for photographers.

Once arrived at the parking place, you will descend by foot down to the lake shore. Your guide will show you the best places to take stunning shots and together you will go around the lake to witness this wonderful phenomena.

Note: We cannot guarantee that it will be foggy in the day of your tour but the place is still beautiful.

After you have taken the shots, you will return to the car and you will be dropped off in Brasov, at your accommodation.

The morning fog over lake St. Anna is a phenomenon that occurs only in certain occasions during the year, more particularly during autumn, when the nights are cooler and days warmer.

The guide will take you to the best places to photograph the dramatic morning landscape but will also present you interesting facts about this mystical place and its origins.
