Learn how the name of the park derives from the aboriginal language of the Kaurna people, the original inhabitants of this 1,236-acre (500-hectare) area. If you're in season, you'll see Morialta Falls, Second Falls, and Third Falls, all of which cascade over impressive quartzite cliffs. 

Morialta offers a great chance to see koalas in their natural habitat. You can also see echidna, kangaroos, dragons, skinks, and geckos. Bird species that inhabit the park include the laughing kookaburra, the rainbow lorikeet, the golden whistler, and the superb fairy-wren. In the spring, you'll also see an array of wildflowers and orchids. 

Return to your original departure point in Adelaide around 12:30pm.
