Monte Chiaro and Supertuscan Experience

This is our most popular tour which begins in front of the Monte Chiaro Villa, which dates back to the 17th century and has been in the Griccioli family since 1760. This experience includes a barrel sample of our most recent vintage, and a seated wine tasting. This tutored tasting includes four wines (normally our white, one Chianti and two Supertuscans).

Our expert guides will lead you through a 1.30 hour immersion into our rich history as well as current vineyard and winemaking operations. Guests are enlightened on the Griccioli family history, the Chianti heritage and the Supertuscan concept.

Due to the intimacy of our experiences at our estate tasting room, reservations are required.

In case of staff unavailability or ordinary maintenance the experience of an equivalent value will take place in the Castello di Monteriggioni tasting room
