The MonLong Peak Trail is a steep ascent forcing a 1000 m elevation gain. The fit hiker will tackle these 6 km uphill in 3.5 to 4.5 hrs. You will have yourself pacing at 100m elevation gain intervals towards the top. And it's all worth it for the spectacular views of the Mesa valley and the Suthep mountain range. You may easily find yourself above the clouds as well. Refreshments and lunch at altitude is waiting for you at the summit. Those with the stamina can now enjoy the optional downhill road ride back to the valley floor by mountain bike. Those beat by the Peak can cool off at the back of the truck.
