After pickup from your Dubai hotel, set off on your 5-hour modern city tour by air-conditioned vehicle. As you travel, listen to information on Dubai’s architecture and landmarks from your guide, and take in the views of the city’s gleaming buildings and high-rises.
Stop at the base of the Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. Gaze up at the 2,722-foot (829.8-meter) skyscraper as your guide shares fascinating facts about its construction between 2005 and 2009.
After taking photos here, head inside the adjoining Dubai Mall, one of the world’s biggest shopping malls. Stroll inside and pay a visit to Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, a vast aquarium centered on a gargantuan tank and 157-foot (48-meter) transparent walk-through tunnel.
Explore the exhibits, seeing the huge tank— home to more than 140 species of sea life. Plus, stroll through the tunnel to enjoy incredible, all-round views of sand tiger sharks, stingrays, huge shoals of fish, and many other creatures.
Back in your vehicle, head to Dubai Marina to admire views of the man-made marina, residential towers, walkways and shopping plazas. Then, continue to the Palm Jumeirah, Dubai's artificial island shaped like a palm tree. Admire the scale of this engineering wonder, and enjoy a photo op outside the Atlantis, The Palm. This massive 5-star hotel rises from the tip of the island, and is themed around the myth of the lost undersea city of Atlantis.
Lastly, return to the mainland and visit the Souk Madinat Jumeirah, a palm-laden maze of traditional-style shopping lanes inspired by an old Arabian souk. Stroll around the walkways and enjoy time to dip into the open-fronted shops, boutiques, and galleries selling everything from crafts and jewelry to fashions.
Your tour then concludes with a hotel drop-off.
