Mikumi National Park Private Day Trip from Dar es salaam

One of the best thing to do while you are in Dar es salaam is visiting Mikumi National Park, this will give you a chance to experience the wildlife, nature, landscape to the maximum. Mikumi National parks rich in wildlife like buffalo, elephant, lions, wildebeests, Maasai giraffe, hippos, impalas, and crocodile, there are also, zebras and warthogs, etc.

Pick up from Dar es salaam at 5 am and to drive to Mikumi National Park which takes approximately 5 hrs to 6 hrs depending on the traffic on the highway. You will have your breakfast at Morogoro Town then with your picnic lunch box drive into Mikumi National Park. You will arrive around 0900am proceed with game drives until late in the afternoon having a lunch at the picnic site.

Mikumi National Park provides excellent opportunity to view diverse number of wildlife and many species of birds in a short period of time without too much of driving around inside the park. You will have the opportunity to view the unique Mikumi Giraffes that naturalists say seem to be a cross breed between reticulated and Maasai Giraffe, Antelope, Lion, Elephant, Buffalo, Hippo, Hyena, Wildebeest, Wild Dog, Zebra, Leopard can be easily sported in this park. Then drive back to Dar es Salaam see beautifully landscapes and scenarios in the way back, arrival around 0900pm.
