Mekong Delta Small-Group Tour from Ho Chi Minh City

We had a very enjoyable experience on this tour with two boys, 5 and 8. Their highlight was the photos with the snakes and the tuktuk ride. Would highly recommend for a great Mekong Delta experience. Tour started with pick up around 8am and we got back to HCMC by around 4.30pm.

The activity itself was fun, but I was disappointed with the tour's progression and time management. The order of the activities has been changed from the itinerary that was posted, and lunch is now around 2 PM. Furthermore, since an hour of free time was provided after lunch, the plan was to return around 5 PM, but we actually returned after 7 PM. If the delay was due to traffic, I can somewhat understand it. However, the significant delay in return time due to unscheduled free time felt like a problem with the time management of the tour. Furthermore, even though the conditions were met to be dropped off at the hotel, I was actually dropped off at a different location from the hotel. At that time, it was also raining, and I was very disappointed because I had expected to be driven to the hotel. While I enjoyed the activity itself, the management aspects such as itinerary planning, time management, and transportation were disappointing. Considering that the tour may not proceed according to the published itinerary and there is a possibility of a significant delay in the return time, I personally do not recommend this tour.

Had an awesome day out with our lovely tour guide Tommy exploring the Mekong Delta with Sampan boat ride and lunch. Everything was well organised and Tommy was courteous and kept us all on track. Would recommend this tour. 🇦🇺

Our guide Vinny was the best. Knowledgeable and funny, there was no dull moments with him. Very interesting tour, a must if you're a tourist in HCMC/Saigon area.

🌴 My Memorable Mekong Delta Experience in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam 🇻🇳 This was truly a rare and unforgettable experience! From the moment we started, we were welcomed by our very vibrant tour guide, Jacky Hieu, who was approachable, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about Vietnamese history and culture. What I appreciated most was how genuinely proud Jacky was of being Vietnamese. He shared so much about Vietnam’s history and traditions while showing us the country’s natural beauty and introducing us to its warm and beautiful people. 🇻🇳❤️ We had so much fun at the bee farm, where I had my first-ever experience holding a python snake! 🐍 I also got to hold a bee house surrounded by so many busy bees producing fresh, real honey. It was such a unique and exciting experience! We also crossed the beautiful Mekong River and stopped at a coconut candy workshop in Ben Tre, where we got to taste freshly made coconut candies. 🥥🍬 Another thing that made the trip even more enjoyable was meeting people from different nationalities and sharing the experience together. And of course, Jacky’s amazing sense of humor kept everyone more relax and comfortable throughout the tour! 😂 If you’re considering a Mekong Delta tour, I highly recommend this experience.
