Mekong Delta Small-Group Tour from Ho Chi Minh City

We had a fantastic day exploring the Mekong Delta! Communication via WhatsApp was excellent from the beginning. The bus pickup in District 1 was comfortable and air-conditioned, and the two-hour drive simply flew by thanks to James, who entertained us with interesting facts, stories, and plenty of jokes. The complimentary bottle of water for everyone was also a nice touch. The coconut factory was a great experience, especially with all the different products to taste. We absolutely loved the ride on the Lambro 550, the chocolate and fruit tasting tour accompanied by songs from the locals, and the excellent boat ride on the traditional junk. I even made a full video of that part! We didn't see any crocodiles, although I'm still not sure whether that was lucky or unlucky. :) The Mekong itself is enormous ?almost 2 km wide at this point) and boating on it was one of the highlights of the day. The honey factory and pagoda were also wonderful experiences towards the end of the trip. Our bus driver did a great job keeping us safe, especially considering the rather chaotic Vietnamese traffic! All in all, this was a very enjoyable, well-planned and well-managed day trip. We had a great time and would definitely recommend it! Thank you again, James, for your great work!

Today was a really good day and Tommy the tour guide was friendly and easy to talk with. Lots of interesting things to see on the islands and plenty of shopping opportunities. Would recommend.

We had a wonderful experience on the Mekong Delta tour! The trip was a great way to explore the local culture, scenery, and especially the delicious local food. Our tour guide, Jacky Hieu, was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole experience enjoyable. The tour was well organized, and having lunch, fresh tropical fruit, and a refreshing coconut drink included was a lovely touch. We really enjoyed experiencing the local way of life and tasting authentic Mekong Delta specialties. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and memorable day trip!

We had an amazing day with Jacky Hieu on the Mekong Delta Tour - we learnt so much that day and it was so happy and memorable . Our guide Jacky was the best!! He had so much knowledge, a wonderful sense of humour and had a way of including all of us into his family - we all got to know each other He made sure everyone was accounted for at all the stops We visited a coconut factory and tasted delicious sweets - the lunch was delicious- There were many different dishes for you to sample The boat trip was relaxing and fun - all in all a good day !!

We had a good time on our tour Linda is as a nice guide and very informative. The bus trip out was a long time and a little uncomfortable. I felt some of the thing's we did where a bit of a waste of time as you can't buy half the stuff and take it back home, particularly to new Zealand. The lunch was ok. In saying that you get a bit of bang for your buck if you don't mind sitting on a small bus for a couple of hour's.
