7.30 am: Pick up at your hotel and drive away the noise of city life to reach Tam Vu- the kingdom of dragon fruits plantation. We may stop at any plantation on the way and enjoy a special kind of dragon fruit- the red one, you can also stop at rice field, corn, chili field.
On the way down to the local ferry station, we will stop at a stunning rural market on its informal setting and friendly market goers will bring you another picture of Mekong delta.
A short ferry trip will bring you to the island, meet and greet by local villagers, whom will ride you thought-out your trip with their motorbike. Hope-on and ride to a green island full of coconut and sour-sop. We then visit some local families to learn about their daily life. Lunch will be served at the local house, in a coconut garden with great hospitality from the host.
The highlight is a peaceful boat trip by a sampan through a small and wild cannel, the nipa palm fruit is waiting for you. An authentic experience and all this just around 90 km from the Ho Chi Minh City.
