In this Tour we will take a tour of Medical Specialties, treating the Prado Museum as an imaginary Hospital. The man being consubstantial to disease and pain and the doctor being always present at birth and death, it is natural that these moments have been reflected by painters throughout history.
We will start with famous doctors portrayed and go through the delivery room, pediatrics, dermatology, ophthalmology, endocrinology, genetics and rheumatic nutrition, alterations of the musculoskeletal system, emergency surgery, and rooms for dentistry and surgery, and others.
