Medellin Street Art Tour

At your hotel, hop aboard a comfortable, climate-controlled vehicle and set off for your 3-hour tour of Medellín's vibrant street art scene.  In San Javier, walk through the streets and ride the well-known cable car that bisects the neighborhood, passing by many examples of eclectic street art. Arrive in Comuna 13, a hillside neighborhood that is home to many examples of colorful graffiti and street murals. Learn about the people and scenes depicted there, as well as the artists, through your guide's informative narrative.  Climb on to one of the neighborhood's outdoor escalators, which make getting around easier in a part of town with very steep hills. Take some photos of these unusual pieces of urban infrastructure and learn about how they've transformed the neighborhood for the better.  Choose to ride a Metro train with your guide to experience one of the city's first mass-transportation projects firsthand.
