Your tour begins with morning pickup from your El Poblado, when you’ll board an air-conditioned car destined for downtown Medellin. Following a short journey to the metro station, you’ll head into downtown Medellin to stroll around Plaza Botero, a square dedicated to the Colombian artist Fernando Botero. After snapping photographs of colossal sculptures made of bronze, you’ll continue on foot into the heart of Medellin’s downtown district, which is replete with colonial churches, museums, and leafy plazas. Then, climb aboard Medellin’s aerial Metrocable to soar over the city up to Santo Domingo Savio Library, a black cubist collection of buildings funded by the King of Spain.
