Summary

Our full day tour starts at 09.00am from you hotel and ends up at 17.00 back to the hotel. We start from the ship model factory which is a free visit, to make you experience the authentic artisanal works. The second site is the volcano of trou aux cerfs which is a dormant on with a well defined cone and crater ( no entrance fee ).We continue our way to the biggest artificial lake which is a water reservoir known as Mare aux vacoas.The next location is the sacred lake ( Grand Bassin ) also considered by many devotees to be an extension of the sacred Ganges river in india. Next stop is Alexandra Falls which sits 700m above sea level with a beautiful panoramic view of the southern part of Mauritius with the next stop to Black River Gorges where you have an amazing collection of indeginous plants and birds ( free visit ). Optional you have also the Chamarel rhum factory and the Curious cornerwhich is an optical illusion house. Then we will move to the chamarel 7 colored earth which geologist belive to be the result of weathering of volcanic rocks.The last stop wil be the Benitier viewpoint where you have a spectatular view on the south west costal villages.
