Massachusetts Avenue Food Tour

I highly do not recommend just for the sheer lack of communication. I have been in communication via email with this company regarding a guided corporate tour for almost 4 weeks now. They have been almost unresponsive and when they were responsive (very rarely), they never answered a single question that I had asked. They had told me that they would confirm that a guide could take the tour and then never confirmed. They then sent me a map of where the tour would take place, which made me assume that meant we had a guide. Then they went silent... for weeks (which I didn't think was a problem because I thought our date was set/being held for us). After multiple unanswered emails, I finally called the number of the person, Sharone, I was trying to speak with and she did not answer, I leave multiple voicemails over the span of a few days with no response (along with emailing multiple times within this timeframe too). I call the direct company line, got an answer, had a message taken saying that I would be contacted once she was back in office. Days later, I still had not received a call back or an email back from Sharone. Finally, they ask if my dates are adjustable (which they were not). After letting them know the date was set, I finally receive a response today letting me know that the tour is no longer available along with all the other tours they offer. This is the worst communication I've had from any activity vendor ever. 10/10 will NEVER recommend. Save your time, save your money. Do something else.

Terrible experience with this company. I have scheduled this tour at least 3 times and it has been cancelled every time. I have never experienced such poor customer service with a food tour company. I would not recommend booking with them unless your schedule is very flexible and you have backup plan just in case it’s cancelled at the last minute.

Food was excellent and very plentiful. There were a good many people on the tour, and we enjoyed interacting with them. However, the tour would have been boring otherwise, since it took so long to get our food at each one. The best food tours move quickly and include 6-7 stops with small portions at each one. Improvements would be faster pace with less downtime, guide updating each next restaurant of timeline before leaving the current stop, more stops - even with higher ticket price, and more history and info about the city being shared. Amanda, the guide, was friendly and interacted with everyone. The tour has potential and would be very enjoyable with a few changes.

Guide did not share much information about the city or the buildings we were passing. She did not keep the group together and the people at the end missed most of her conversations. The restaurants selections were not great. At one our samples were taco and french fries. One of the restaurants didn't seem to know we were coming, she had never been there, and we waited much too long in a hot day. She was not attentive to the guest while we were at the restaurant, spending time on her phone.

This food tour was very mediocre. There were 4 stops, and the food was not that original to Indianapolis. Dessert was ice cream and at one of stops our table was not ready. Everyone in the group felt it was a long wait,and that they should have been more prepared for us. Not too much local information given during tour
