Look for South Africa’s “marine big five”—whales, great white sharks, African penguins, Cape fur seals, and dolphins—on a cruise around Dyer Island, complete with onboard biologist. The southern right whale season runs between June and December, but humpback and Bryde’s whales can sometimes be seen at other times. Your day includes hotel transfers, a warming snack on arrival and return, lifejackets, and wet weather gear.
