Important information
Know before you book
- This tour is suitable for all skill levels, including beginners.
- Participants must be comfortable in open water at night.
- Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Know before you go
- Wear comfortable swimwear and bring a towel.
- Arrive at the meeting point at least 15 minutes before departure.
- Ensure you have a valid ID for check-in.

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

- A maximum of 28 people per booking
- Electronic Waiver required to be signed prior to tour
- Must be able to climb up a metal ladder resting on a pontoon to get back in the boat
- Must be under 285lbs
- All participating guests must know how to swim and tread water. Snorkeling experience required.
- This is a wild and free excursion. No refunds are given in the event we do not get to view mantas the night of your tour.
- If you are unable to swim and would like to remain on the boat, we welcome you. "Ride alongs" are a paid ticket as it is a reserved seat on the boat at a discount.
- We have full discretion to refuse service to guests based on attire, behavior, physical fitness & condition
- Please arrive no later than your scheduled check in time, as we have important information to review prior to leaving the dock, as well as outfit all guests with the equipment needed for the tour.
- Restroom facilities not available on boat
- This tour is not for those with neck or back problems
- This tour is not for those with major medical conditions or heart conditions
- Guests must be physically and mentally capable of listening to and obeying safety instructions
- This is an open ocean experience at night. Young children may be scared of the dark waters and large animals.
- Children who are frighten and crying will be escorted back aboard with a guardian. No Exceptions
- Transportation NOT provided.
- This trip is not for individuals who are afraid the dark, deep water, or large animals.
- Snorkel vest provided for children 12 and under. Snorkel vest available to rent for all others.

Mystical experience afloat
Amazing night snorkeling with manta rays. The guide was friendly, funny, and made everything feel safe and easy. We saw five manta rays, and it truly felt like a mystical experience.

This was even better than the great reviews. You need to do it to understand- words don’t do justice. Colby and the dive crew made sure we were both safe and had a great time. Very professional with excellent equipment! My wife was hesitant to go, but it was a top highlight of our Kona visit. Highly recommend!

The experience in the water was absolutely amazing. Sam was very professional and attentive, and he explained a lot about the manta rays in a clear and interesting way. The mantas were huge and incredibly impressive, and I loved learning that each one even has its own name. Overall, the snorkeling itself was a fantastic experience and I would definitely recommend it. The only downside was the logistics before getting into the water. The meeting point was a little difficult to find, and after we arrived and picked up our wetsuits, we were surprised to learn that we had to make our own way to the snorkeling site. It was about a 30-minute walk, and we had expected some kind of transportation to be provided. I think it would be much more convenient if the equipment could be distributed directly at the snorkeling site, or if transportation between the meeting point and the site were provided. That said, once we got into the water and saw the manta rays, all of those frustrations quickly disappeared. The underwater experience was truly unforgettable and absolutely worth it.
An amazing experience.
This is an absolutely must do adventure while you're here at kona island. The manta rays are so big and get close. The tour guides were extremely helpful and my sister and I had an amazing time!
