Your tour begins at Makena Landing, where you’ll greet your guide, receive a short safety briefing, and board a kayak to begin your eco-adventure. Unlike motorized vessels, kayaks generate no noise and therefore increase your chances of observing humpback whales in their natural environment.
Paddle over the calm, crystal clear waters of South Maui and observe migrating and mating pods of humpback whales: some of the largest mammals on earth. Keep a safe and respectful distance that allows you to capture fantastic photographs before you don a snorkel and plunge into an underwater wonderland.
See green sea turtles and an array of tropical fish as you follow your guide through the water. Then, return to your kayak and paddle back to your original departure point on Makena Landing.
