We ask guests to wear clothes that they do not mind getting dirty! All guests must wear sturdy, closed-toe footwear that can be used for hiking. Bug spray and reef safe sunscreen are recommended as well as a towel and extra clothes for showering off after the tour.
Guests will be provided with goggles, a helmet, and a souvenir neck gaiter (for use as a face mask). A safety overview, including driving instructions, will be given by your guides before heading out on the trails. For this tour, guests can expect to view pristine landscapes from makai (ocean) to mauka (mountain). This tour will take you on plantation trails over Kauai's most southern point. Guests will hear the tales of Kamehameha from atop an inactive volcanic crater, see famous movie sites, visit the Makauwahi Cave Reserve as well as its Tortoise farm and even be able to try their luck at some catch and release bass fishing on the Waita Reservoir!
