Maipo Valley Glaciers - 2 day guided hiking tour with camping close to Santiago

Guided by a professional Ecotourism projects manager with Wilderness First Aid certification, technical courses and deep knowledge about the area, geology, plants, birds and much more!  Mode of transport depends on the size of the group: From 0 to 3: a 4wd Ford Ranger or similar, from 4-6 a Hyundai H1 Van, From 7-10 Nissan NV 350, from 10-16 Mercedes Sprinter 515  Attractions visited: San José de Maipo - San Alfonso, Lo Valdés, Valle de las arenas, Morado glacier and lagoon, Valle del rio colina, Termas baños colina Meals included: Day 1: Boxed lunch (sandwiches, cereal bars, fruits, chocolate), Cheese and wine, chilean barbecue with meats, vegetables, salads and more. Day 2: Breakfast, Boxed lunch  (sandwiches, cereal bars, fruits, chocolate) and appetizers.  Day 1: We will be a small group to have a real connection with the place, learn from geography and other interesting information accompanied by experts in Ecotourism with technical mountain courses and wilderness first aid. There we will make a trekking through the "Valle de las arenas" with a unique geography and enjoy a 10 km hike round trip and 600 meters of elevation to reach a lagoon and the viewpoint of an incredible hanging glacier. On the way back we will arrive to our campsite in the middle of the valley, with magnificent views and enjoy a typical barbecue with meat, vegetables and salads and an interesting conversation with the group. Day 2:  After breakfast we will go to another mountain valley, called "Valle del Rio Colina". There we will make a walk following the river to the viewpoint of the glacier Nieves Negras. We will have a picnic in that place and then return by the same path to the starting point, where we will enjoy a bath in natural hot springs of up to 60 degrees Celsius, perfect to relax the muscles after two days of trekking. After that we will return to Santiago and after 2 hours approximately we will arrive at your place in Santiago.
