Summary Description

1° day : Arrival in Lima

International flight. Airport pick-up and transfer to hotel.

2° day : Arrival in Cusco

Transfer to Lima airport to take the flight to Cusco. Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel where we'll get time to rest so our bodies can adjust to the altitude. Free afternoon. Night at the hotel.

3° day : Cusco, Sacsayhuaman, Pisac

After breakfast, we start at the Plaza de Armas of Cusco and make our way to the San Pedro market where we come into contact with the tastes, colors and typical aromas of the Andes. We then take a private car to visit the Inca ruins in the surroundings of the city: Sacsayhuaman, Kenko, Puka Pukara and Tambomachay. Afterwards we drive to Pisac, famous for its colorful artisan crafts market and archeological complex. Night at the hotel in the Sacred Valley.

4° day : Sacred Valley: Maras, Moray, train to Aguas Calientes

Today, with our tour guide and private transport, we course through the mythical "Sacred Valley of the Incas". We visit Moray, ancient and wonderful biological lab of the Incas; Maras, impressive salt mines. Train to Aguas Calientes to begin our Machu Picchu adventure. Night at the hotel.

5° day : Machu Picchu

We take the bus from Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu and enter the "lost city." For the more adventurous there is the possibility to hike to the summit of Wayna Picchu. In the afternoon we take the train back to Ollantaytambo or Poroy, and then the bus to make our way back to Cusco. Night at the hotel.

6° day : Free Day in Cusco, Myths

Free day to walk around the beautiful city of Cusco. In the evening we go on a cultural and alternative walking tour. Strolling under the stars through the historic center of the city, we discover a less-known side of Cusco: myths, legends, tales, ghosts and saints. A unique experience to see the true Cusco, iconic city of Peru. Night at the hotel.

7° day : The Road to Puno

We get picked up at 06:15 from the hotel and begin our journey towards the city of Puno. The comfortable touristic bus will make a series of stops (Andahuaylillas, Rajchi, and Pukara). Pick-up from the bus station in Puno. Night at the hotel.

8° day : Lake Titicaca

After breakfast, we go to the port to embark on a boat. We'll visit the floating islands of the Uros; then, we visit the island of Amantani. Lunch, dinner and lodging at the home of a local family. 

9° day : Taquile Island

After breakfast we go to the island of Taquile. We go on a walk through the main part of the island. Lunch in Taquile. Return to Puno with an estimated arrival at 18:00. Night at the hotel.

10° day : Flight to Lima

Transfer to Juliaca and flight to Lima. Connection with international flight.

Machu Picchu: Passengers must take to Aguas Calientes luggage for only two days and one night. Due to train restrictions, please only take a backpack or carry-on size luggage that weighs no more than 5kg. The rest of your luggage should be left in storage at the hotel in Cusco or Urubamba.
