After pickup from your hotel or another selected location in Dubai, head to the Louvre Abu Dhabi, one of the largest art museums in the Arabian Peninsula. Pass under the museum’s silver dome, its pattern resembling interwoven palm leaves. The artwork inside includes artifacts from the Louvre in Paris, Palace of Versailles, and Musée d’Orsay. Browse exhibits displayed chronologically from ancient times to the present, and check out the children’s museum, if you like. Your driver takes you to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque when you’re ready. The mosque blends traditional and contemporary Islamic architectural styles and can accommodate thousands of worshippers at a time. After strolling through the courtyard, step inside and see one of the world’s largest hand-woven carpets, flower-patterned floral artworks, and glass panels studded with thousands of Swarovski crystals.
