Your skipper will tell you the amazing history and ancient folklore of the lake and the surrounding area as the scenic landscape unfolds before your eyes. During the cruise you’ll experience the breath-taking scenery of the surrounding Connemara Mountains and well as seeing famous Ashford Castle from the water. This medieval and Victorian castle which has been expanded over the centuries, was once owned by the Guinness family who used it as a hunting lodge and is now five star luxury hotel.
