Make your own way to Praça de Gomes Teixeira at the Lions fountain in time for a 9am departure. Accompanied by your private guide, Nuno, set out to discover the rich history and heritage of Portugal’s second city.
Your tour can be customized to suit your interests, so perhaps browse the stalls at Bolhão Market, visit the Museum Casa do Infante (entrance included), or admire architectural wonders such as Lello book store. Along the way, stop to sample traditional treats such as Pastel de Nata (egg tart), and taste regional wines.
Finally, ride the cable car across the Douro River and enjoy magnificent views over the city. Your tour ends in Gaia, on the opposite bank of the river, around 2pm.
Please note: Although this tour is longer than usual city tours and Porto is know for its hilly landscape, this tour has been designed to only take a downward walking trail around the city. No major hills will be climbed during this tour.
