Your private coach will collect you from your central Edinburgh hotel and head straight for the north of Scotland. Break the journey at the pretty Highland hamlet of Kilmahog, where you’ll see long-haired Highland cattle. From here, head over rugged Rannoch Moor to Glen Coe, the beautiful valley where soldiers slaughtered the MacDonald clan in 1692. On arrival at Loch Ness, choose whether to soak up the atmosphere in the village of Fort Augustus, explore the shores, or join an optional boat cruise—fans of the Loch Ness Monster will love the boat with sonar imaging.
