After pickup from central Edinburgh, set out for Stirling, traveling for about an hour in air-conditioned minivan. On arrival, explore the historic town, where highlights include the Wallace Monument—dedicated to the real-life Braveheart, William Wallace—and the royal fortress of Stirling Castle, which you have time to visit if you wish (entrance fees not included).
Continue along the dramatic Duke’s Pass into Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park, and stop to take photos of Loch Lomond, Scotland’s largest lake. After admiring the national park, make a final stop at the Glengoyne whisky distillery where you can tour the distillery and sample some whisky (own expense).
Your tour ends with drop-off in central Edinburgh.
