Enjoy stunning views of the Clwydian Range onboard a vintage open-top London double-decker bus as we climb 1,368ft from Llangollen to the highest point of The Horseshoe Pass. See the spectacular Llantysilio Mountain to the west and Marilyn Cyrn-y-Brain to the east. The road travels in a horseshoe shape around three sides of the valley, giving the pass its English name. We stop at the Ponderosa cafe - the highest point for 30 minutes so plenty of time to enjoy the views and pop into the cafe and gift shop before the journey back to Llangollen.
Our fully restored vintage London bus dates back to 1964 and is the only open-top Routemaster operating in North Wales and the Northwest. These iconic buses served the streets of London for over 40 and are real head turners, so you are guaranteed plenty of admiring waves and smiles from passing motorists and pedestrians.
Please Note: If wet weather/poor visibility is forecast we may cancel the tours as we know you would not enjoy getting wet!
