What You'll Do
Join a like-minded Local Host who is passionate about Portuguese wine and will guide you through the maze of narrow cobbled streets in Lisbon's oldest neighbourhood to hidden bars home to the best wines and loved by locals.
Learn a little about the different wine regions of Portugal as you sample some of the wines they produce! From crisp and aromatic Arinto whites from the Lisboa region to the full-bodied reds of Alentejo, your Local Host will help you choose a wine to try at each bar you visit based on your preferences.
As dusk falls and the locals start to unwind for the evening, explore this historic area, admiring the Moorish architecture, spotting buildings that have stood since Medieval times and wandering past houses covered in beautiful, traditional tiles.
You'll visit three different bars, and sample a different wine at each bar, giving you a taste of some of the flavours of Portuguese wine! Along with this enjoy some small plates of nibbles - known as petiscos - with your wine, and you'll be starting your evening just like the locals!
