Leave from Lisbon on your comfortable coach and head out to the nearby village of Sintra. Stop at the UNESCO-listed Pena Palace to explore this romantic castle, perched 1,640 feet (500 meters) above sea level, that was once a royal summer home.
Walk around Sintra's historic city center in your free time and visit local shops and bakeries. If you've upgraded, enjoy lunch in the quaint village.
From Sintra, head to the coast and visit Cabo da Roca—mainland Europe’s westernmost point—and take in the scenic views of the Atlantic Ocean. As you continue to Cascais Bay, stop at Boca do Inferno—Hell’s Mouth cliff—and observe the ominous rock formations that have been carved out by the waves.
Continue down the Estoril coast and stop at Casino Estoril, Europe’s biggest casino and the inspiration behind the James Bond film ‘Casino Royale,’ before heading back to Lisbon.
