Meet a driver at your hotel, and board a climate-controlled minivan for the trip to Castelo Hill. Then, follow the winding, narrow streets to Lisbon Cathedral. Enter the church to see the intricate stained glass window, before heading to Alfama, among the oldest neighborhoods in the city.
From there, continue to the Belém district on the banks of the Tagus River, visiting the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Jerónimos Monastery and Belém Tower. Try one of the neighborhood’s famous custard tarts, with time to purchase lunch at the edge of the river.
Follow a soaring 18th-century aqueduct on your way back to the city center, stopping in Amoreiras to see the Mae de Agua Lisbon Aqueduct and Water Museum. Finally, drop by the Baixa neighborhood, the perfect place to learn how Lisbon rebuilt after the 1755 earthquake. The tour then concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
