This is a roughly four-hour afternoon tour, using a vintage convertible VW accompanied by a local guide who is very knowledgeable of the area. The tour will take you to the highland area of Yogyakarta, stopping at a spot overlooking the city and Prambanan temple before arriving at Candi Ijo. Also known as the highest Candi in the city, this temple was built around the 9th century and is situated between two hills. A picnic refreshment is served while enjoying a panoramic view of Yogyakarta and its surrounding area, including Mount Merapi as well as the city airport until the sun sets down. Finally, we will drive you back to the city to see the traditional shadow puppet performance before returning to the hotel.
