1.50pm - Meeting point at Place Pasteur Bus stop.

2.00pm - Depart from Sarlat
- Visit Lascaux IV cave replica with a guide.
- Visit Lascaux IV museum that is now the International Centre of Parietal Art.
- Visit Les Eyzies de Tayac or St Léon sur Vézère village with your guide.
6.00pm - Arrive in Sarlat

The museum is a triumph of technology: unlike any other cave visits, Lascaux 4 employs different set designs, displays, state-of-the-art interactive workshops and immersive technology to bring it to life. For the very first time, all of Lascaux cave is revealed. This new center features an interactive gallery experience that blends Art, History and Culture with intelligence and sensitivity. At the heart of the experience you will discover a life size, state of the art facsimile cave that reveals the wonders of Lascaux as they were first seen.
The museum in 2018 was listed on Time Magazine’s 100 Greatest Places to visit saying: “The Snohetta-designed complex features some 600 prehistoric paintings and 1,000 engravings, all painstakingly re-created by a team of two dozen artists working from physical castings and advanced 3-D digital scans or the original artwork”!
After the visit and some time for personal discovery, the tour will also take you along the Vezere Valley for stops in Les Eyzies and Saint Léon village.

We accept payment by AMEX, Visa and Master Card. There is no charge or service fee for processing credit card payments except with American Express +3%. For any cancellation, the following fees will be deducted from the refund: > Up to 24 hours prior to departure: no cancellation fees except the booking fees. > 24 hours prior to departure and less > no refund All semi private tours depart on time. Clients should present themselves at the allocated meeting point at least 10 minutes before the beginning of the tour. Driver/guide will not wait unless Ophorus has been previously informed that the client will be late with a maximum waiting time of 10 minutes. Beyond that waiting time, tours will depart and Ophorus cannot be held responsible for clients missing their tour.
