The Lares Trek to Machu Picchu is spectacular alternative hike to the Inca Trail. Taking you off the beaten track with visit to authentic Andean villages, whilst being surrounded by stunning mountain peaks, lakes and sacred valley of the Incas. This fabulous trekking offers a real insight into the lives of the people of Cusco, as it once was.

The tour offers starting in Pumahuanca Sacred Valley passing through the hot springs of Lares Valley and finishes in the lost city of the Incas Machu Picchu.

The last day in the afternoon, you get back from Aguas Calientes to Ollantaytambo by train and 1 hour bus to Cusco.
