Langtang Valley Trek

Langtang Valley Trek is relatively short, easily accessible but still unknown to the majority of trekkers.It offers an opportunity to explore typical villages, beautiful mountain peaks and visit glaciers at a comfortably low elevation. It is one of the best trekking options for those wishing a short trek from Kathmandu into the Himalayas influenced by Tibetan lifestyle.The trail combines glaciers, rivers, beautiful alpine forest, extended pastures, and breathtaking snow-clad mountains bordering Tibet. We start Langtang Valley Trek with a drive to Syabrubesi from Kathmandu that takes around 8 hours. The starting point of trekking is Syabrubesi, from Syabrubesi we follow the Langtang River to the east until we arrive at Kyangin Gompa with the overnight stay at Lama Hotel. Then we continue our trek towards Langtang Valley and reach all the way up to the height of 4,984m (Tserko-RI). We descend back to Syabrubesi via the same route and drive back to Kathmandu where our trek finally ends.
