Tamang Heritage Trail is perhaps the most accessible trekking region in Nepal, where you can experience some of the most beautiful scenery in the country and trek through unspoiled Tamang villages while providing a sustainable economic benefit to the community. The history of the Tamang Heritage Trail takes you several hundred years back when the trail was used as a trading route that connected Tibet and Nepal. Commodities like salt, meat, livestock, and crops were brought through the border and traded in these regions. Eventually, those Tibetian traders started to settle down here, changing their ethnicity to Tamang. Thus the name "The Langtang Tamang Heritage Trails." But, their culture and tradition as a Tibetian were intact. You will be stunned to see how well these people have preserved their ancient culture and traditions. The Langtang Tamang Heritage trail will reward you with Traditional Tamang villages and Culture, life, artifacts, relics, nature Unspoiled by modernity.
