Meet your guide and tour group in central Milan, at the Milan Visitor Center. There, board your tour vehicle and leave the driving to someone else while you relax and take in the scenery. Your guide takes you on an itinerary tailored to the season so you can best experience what Lake Como has to offer. All food and drink is at your own expense.
Spring/Summer Tour (April to October)
Once in the town of Como, explore the town with your guide, including the Basilica of Sant’Abbondio and other highlights. Learn about the history and culture of the town and what makes Lake Como attractive to luxury travelers. Spend free time exploring the local boutiques and eateries before cruising Lake Como.
Have your camera ready for snaps of the scenery—its picturesque towns with the Alps in the background—for which the lake is famous. Dock in the village of Bellagio, where you can explore independently, with suggestions from your guide.
Return on a boat ride to Cadenabbia, where your coach conveniently meets you for the trip back to Milan.
Fall/Winter Tour (November to March)
After a scenic journey to Como, follow your guide for an in-depth tour of the city. Learn about its highlights and history, and take the funicular for the ride to Brunate. From one of the highest points overlooking Lake Como, take in views and snap panoramic photos. Explore Brunate on your own, using your guide’s suggestions.
Next up is the Lake Como cruise, during which you can admire the shoreline and its lakeside villas. Your guide points out Villa d'Este at Cernobbio, a hot spot for the rich and famous, surrounded by lush, manicured gardens.
Back on shore, wander Como, grabbing a traditional Italian coffee or shopping for Italian souvenirs. Board the bus for the ride back to Milan, stopping at the impressive Basilica of Sant'Abbondio on the way.
Regardless of the season, you get dropped off at your original pickup location in Milan.
