Among in numerous small lakes are 16 larger ones, each with its own anecdote stemming from real events (don’t worry, we won’t spoil any right now). A UNESCO World Heritage park since 1979, the lakes are renowned for their distinctive colors, ever-changing from azure to green, grey or blue, depending on the number of minerals or organisms in the water and the angle of sunlight.
