Meet a driver at your hotel in Siem Riep for morning departure, then board a climate-controlled minivan for the trip to Tonle Sap Lake, passing through a scenic landscape of lotus flower farms and rice fields.
Transfer to a traditional longtail boat for a cruise across the lake, making the first stop of the day at a floating village. As you cruise you’ll see flooded mangrove forests and floating aquaculture, and get a glimpse of daily life on Tonle Sap Lake.
Pause for lunch on the Queen Tara, the largest boat on Tonle Sap Lake, with meal and drinks included. Spend the afternoon on board the longatail boat, traveling to the stilt village of Kompong Phluk. Depending on seasonal water levels, you’ll stop for a walk through a mangrove forest, or row between the trees in a small boat, then continue along the main street of Kompong Phluk to see the local training school for Buddhist monks.
Walk through the village to see colorful fish markets and local neighborhoods, before meeting back up with the boats for the return trip to your original departure point. This full-day tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
