Choose to get picked up or meet your guide in Rossio Square. You and your private party of up to eight people climb into a comfortable tour vehicle and head for the ancient city of Tomar.
On the way, stop at the ancient village of Dornes, which was founded by the Romans. Visit the medieval tower and take in the view over the Zêzere River before continuing on to Tomar.
Once you arrive, explore the city, including the Sao Joao Baptista Church and Tomar Synagogue.
Then, visit the Convent of Christ, which dates back to 1520 and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Learn about the role this building played in Templar history and see a related artifact that resides there.
