Situated by the Kelani River, hosting 5 major and 4 minor rapids, you can choose an action packed day with a professional white water rafting for adults and flat water rafting for kids including a comprehensive safety briefing and training, mountain biking along mountain trails, and waterfall abseiling and jumps. In addition, you could also take a cave exploration trip to see the site of the 12,000 year old prehistoric ‘Balangoda Man’, a jungle hike to see the thick rainforest where you can engage in some bird watching as well, and possibly a boat expedition along the river to some hidden nooks and crannies along lengths. Additionally, you can also look forward to some nutritious local fare for lunch after an adventure filled day.

About operator:
Take a private guided boat tour of the Negombo Lagoon, and on the way pick up some fresh seafood of your choice from the busy Negombo fish market for lunchtime. Along the way, you will pass through the highly protected mangrove forests – a valuable biodiversity asset. Engage in some fishing as well for some delicious lagoon fish, and help some traditional lagoon anglers haul in their daily catch.
At lunchtime, lend a hand with the cooking as your handpicked seafood is grilled to perfection for an unforgettable lunch treat, after which you can set out on a catamaran ride along the canals of Negombo. Complimentary refreshments included.
