Good to know
- Since we walk on one of the nature trails, we highly recommend to wear long pants, socks and comfortable walking shoes (no flip flops).
- IMPORTANT: There are many wild animals in the national park, but you should always remember you're visiting a huge National Park, not a zoo looking at animals in captivity. The animals are free to roam where they like, and with the dense vegetation it’s not always easy to find them.
- The hiking trail we follow is approximately 3 to 4 kilometers long. It’s suitable for anyone with a normal level of fitness, but we understand that physical effort is experienced differently by each individual.
- The travel time between Bangkok and Khao Yai is approximately 3 hours one way, depending on traffic conditions.
- Bangkok’s traffic is often heavily congested, so we kindly ask all guests to arrive on time. As our tours run on a group basis, we can wait a maximum of 10 minutes after the scheduled meeting time. After this grace period, the guide will begin the tour. If you cannot make it on time, please let us know before the tour starts. If possible, we’ll do our best to reschedule you for the next available day, though a rescheduling fee of THB 500 per person will apply. No refund will be provided in case of late arrival.
- Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour start time are eligible for a full refund. For cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or in case of no-show, no refund will be issued. Cancellations due to weather are not eligible for a refund.
- The exact departure time from the meeting point will be sent to you via private message on the booking platform one day before the tour. Please check your email (including your junk/spam folder) carefully the day before your tour to avoid any delays or missed departures.
- Depending on the number of participants, departure from the meeting point will be between 7:30 and 8:00 hrs.

Recommended if you are short in time.
Surina the guide was kind and generous. We had fun spending time with her and learning from her. She helped us find suitable food in the park and on the way there (we are vegetarian) and shared with us her favorite snacks. The vehicle was comfortable and the ride was smooth. You should note that the ride from Bangkok to Khao Yai is long (3 hours each direction) with more driving inside the park. So much more time was spent in the car than in nature. Also, in a rapid pace like that you can enjoy the trails, but not see much animals. The park itself is big and diverse. If you have the time, take a longer tour. We asked to be dropped off in Pak Chong and not to return to Bangkok, and returned the day afterwards to spend another day in the park. The company was willing to accommodate our request and we appreciate that very much. The communication with them towards the tour was very clear and easy.

Great experience
Surina our guide was knowledge, generous, funny and very kind. She was attentive to our needs and wishes and help protect us from leeches (and there were many!). Although it rained we had a good experience, seen monkeys, squirrels, butterflys, lots of deers and more. The vehicle was comfortable and the ride went smoothly.

Bond was my tour guide and he was incredible. His knowledge of the various plants and animals in the national park and how to spot them made this trip all the more better. While other hikers were walking by, we were able to spot hidden gems. Bond and his driver went out of their way to make sure my experience at the park was the absolute best possible.
