- Your accommodation will require a credit card pre-authorisation of AU$100 per day plus AU$200 refundable bond to a maximum of AU$500. In the event that no credit card is available, full payment and a bond deposit of AU$100 per day to a maximum of AU$500 is required.
- Recommended for guests to bring their own front-facing infant seats. Limited child seats are available at an additional charge on request.

- Please note that Queensland law requires all guests travelling on our coaches to wear seat belts at all times, failure to do so could result in a Queensland Government fine.
- This tour has separate departure locations depending on whether you are staying in Hervey Bay or Rainbow Beach. Please make sure you book the correct departure location. If you are staying in Hervey Bay, select pick up from Buccaneer Drive. If you are staying in Rainbow Beach, select pick up from Rainbow Beach Road.
- The commencement of hotel pickups is approximately 2 hours prior to the departure time of the tour, you must make telephone contact with the local service provider to book the pickup and verify the exactness of your pickup time, this must be done at least 48hrs prior to the departure.

Wonderful day out
A great day exploring the unique habitat of Fraser island our pick up point driver had been delayed by a group so not his fault we were late pick up, the driver was very knowledgeable and told us interesting info en route to ferry. The guide for our island "off road," experience was Blair, so knowledgeable about the island and it's history but telling us in small bites so easier to take in. Lunch was plentiful and all labeled I'm veggie so very happy to see several options, a tea and cookie stop at the end of the day too. Had an option to take a small aircraft flight which was extra but well with it. A fantastic day we both loved it. Lucky to see a dingo at the end of the day.
Top round trip with mediocre accommodation.
The round trip was super, with Taylah as a very dedicated tour guide who told us a story at every stop and left enough time for exploration. The first half of September is significantly quieter (we were 14/40), after that there are school holidays in Australia. Accommodation at the K‘Gari Beach Resort was ok (food, room). It was a shame that everything closes there at 9 p.m. Therefore, the price-performance ratio is fine for me.

Frasier Island/K'Gari
Great experience driving along the sand and seeing numerous dingos. I loved the rainforest area of Frasier Island also. Never realised how much history there is there. The lakes were crystal clear, but too cold to go in and have a dip. We also stopped at Eli Creek which was amazing. Our bus only had about 14 people on board so it was very comfortable. Our driver Taylah was excellent. We were in very safe hands with her driving and she was very considerate in trying to avoid all the awful bumps. We were there in August, the weather was a little cool.
Awesome 2-Day Adventure!
We absolutely loved our 2-day trip to K’gari, so many beautiful things to see and do! David was an expert tour guide, and everything worked like clockwork! Great value, unique landscape- felt like another world over there! You won’t be disappointed if you book with K’gari Explorer Tours - long-running tour providers who know exactly how to run this experience. Sad to have it come to an end! Definitely recommend the overnight stay - breaks up the experience and allowed us to decompress and relax for a couple of days. We won’t forget it! Thank you team.
