There are many great sights to see in Ketchikan. Here are just a few.
Highlight One: At the Deer Mountain Tribal Hatchery and Eagle Centre, feed the fish, sample salmon products, observe the eagles up-close, and get acquainted with the culture of the native Southeast Alaskans.
Highlight Two: Spend a couple of hours at the Totem Heritage Centre exploring the poles and learning about the Tlingit, Tsimshian, and Haida Native cultures.
Highlight Three: Dolly's House is located on Creek Street and is a step back in time, to when the street was the Red Light District of Ketchikan.
Highlight Four: The Tongass Historical Museum gives a nice overview of how the logging and fishing industries and the local First Nation cultures influenced the history of Ketchikan.
This is just a taste of what you’ll experience on this tour but there are plenty more attractions and stories to be seen and heard along the way.
